Breastfeeding & Lactation support

We are proud to have the two international board-certified lactation consultants (IBCLC) registered in Ghana working with us. Under her leadership, we aim to become an easily accessible platform to parents and health professionals to identify breastfeeding challenges and find a customized solution for each baby and each mother to make breastfeeding successful for a healthy start.

We will be delighted to have you join our community to share knowledge and experiences to support each other to make breastfeeding possible for every mother!

When to get in touch with us?

While there is never a wrong time to consult a lactation consultant, there are a few specific situations where their training and knowledge will be most beneficial to you:

  • Latch Issues: Your baby is struggling to attach their mouth to your nipple and breast during feedings.
  • Let Down Issues: Your breasts become engorged and feel hard and painful. This often occurs when you don’t let down effectively.
  • Breastfeeding Fears: Your struggles with breastfeeding come from psychological or emotional fears and concerns.
  • Pumping: Your baby is not able to take the breast yet after birth or you have to resume work? A lactation can help assist you with how to make this work.
  • Infections: While serious cases may need a trip to the doctor’s office, lactation consultants can get to the root of the problem and help correct bad habits.
